Features
PB Tracker keeps your personal bests in one dedicated place, separate from your workout log so they are always easy to find. Choose from over 300 built-in exercises or add your own, record what matters for each, set goals, and watch your progress build.

Every personal best, on one screen
The Bests tab gathers every PB you hold, lifts and runs alike, with your newest best highlighted in gold. Each card shows what it records, such as your heaviest triple or your fastest 5 km, and how it has moved over time.

Watch your progress build
Every exercise has a progress chart for each rep max or distance, with your goal marked on it. Switch between the last three months, six months, a year, or everything you have ever logged.
New in 1.3: touch and hold the chart, then slide along it, to read the exact value and date of any record. Turn your phone sideways and the chart fills the screen, with more dates and gridlines.

Know your numbers for every rep range
New in 1.3: one good set tells you a lot. PB Tracker estimates what you could lift for anything from a single to ten reps, shows your actual bests alongside, and quietly points out where a new PB looks within reach.

Set targets and close the gap
Set a goal for any lift or run, with or without a deadline, and see at a glance whether you are on track, close, or already there.

Celebrate every PB
Log a new best and PB Tracker marks the moment, showing what you beat and by how much. Share a card of it if you like, in light or dark.

Strength in context
Add your bodyweight to see your strength relative to it, plus a DOTS score for weight and reps lifts.
New in 1.3: connect Apple Health and your bodyweight fills itself in from your latest weigh-in. PB Tracker only reads your weight, never writes to Health, and keeps it on your phone.

Over 300 exercises, ready to track
Lifts, calisthenics, Olympic lifts, rowing, swimming and running, each measured the right way: weight and reps, most reps, longest hold, furthest distance, fastest time, and timed sets. Search by name or abbreviation, such as RDL, OHP or BSS, pin your favourites to the top, or add your own.

Your data stays on your phone
No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Export everything to CSV whenever you like, and import it again on a new phone.
And also
- Siri and Shortcuts: say “Log a PB in PB Tracker” or “What’s my PB in PB Tracker”
- Kilograms or pounds, light or dark, and six accent colours
- Built for everyone, with VoiceOver, Voice Control and large text sizes throughout
- New in 1.3: landscape on iPhone
Tips: get more from PB Tracker
Some of the handiest parts of PB Tracker are a gesture away.

Make an exercise a favourite. Swipe right on it in Exercises. Favourites sit at the top of the list.

Reorder your favourites. Touch and hold one, then drag it. With VoiceOver, use the Move up and Move down actions.

Celebrate again. Touch and hold your current best, on its exercise or its card in Bests, to relive it or share it.

Delete a record. Swipe left on it.

- Read exact values off a chart. New in 1.3: touch and hold the chart, then slide your finger along it. In portrait this works on the All range; turn your phone sideways to use it on any range.
- See more of your chart. New in 1.3: turn your phone sideways.
- Log by voice. Say “Hey Siri, log a PB in PB Tracker”, and Siri asks which exercise and what you lifted. Logging needs your iPhone unlocked.
- Spot an estimate. A value starting with ≈ is estimated from your sets rather than lifted outright.
Your data stays yours
PB Tracker collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your device. No account, no tracking, no sign-up. You can read the full privacy policy.
Requirements
PB Tracker requires iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
Support
If you have a question, a problem, or a suggestion, I would be glad to hear from you. Email me at gary at {this domain} and I will do my best to help. When reporting a problem, it helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and a short description of what happened.
Frequently asked questions
All your data is stored locally on your device. It is never sent to me or to anyone else. This means your personal bests stay private, but it also means they are not backed up to the cloud or synced between devices. Exporting to CSV, and importing it again, is a good way to keep your own backup.
Your data moves with your iPhone backup. If you set up a new iPhone from an iCloud or encrypted computer backup, PB Tracker’s data comes across with it. You can also export to CSV in Settings and import that file on the new phone.
Yes. Add any exercise, choose what it tracks (weight and reps, reps, time, distance and more), and give it extra names so it is easy to find.
When bodyweight tracking is enabled for an exercise, PB Tracker can show a DOTS strength score alongside weight-and-reps records. This is a standard way to compare strength relative to bodyweight.
No, and that is deliberate. PB Tracker is for recording personal bests only, kept separate from your workout app so your achievements do not get lost among your training logs.
Both. PB Tracker ships with over 300 common exercises to pick from so you can start quickly, and you can add any custom exercise of your own, with its own search aliases so it is easy to find later.
